WE Leadership Academy was born from 2 unique points of view coming together with the same common goal:

Create stronger, healthier, successful workplaces through better leaders who know how to put People First.

After over 17 years in the Human Resources field, watching companies overpromote and undertrain leaders, seeing this system fail time and time again. I came to the realization that the transition from managers to leaders is not one that most organizations openly embrace. Having to work to try and develop cultures of empowerment and trust in companies and motivate employees who were not feeling listened to or encouraged brought me to the conclusion that we are not investing and training our leaders...

The WHY behind the passion to create WE Leadership Academy. It simply comes down to so many years in operations and watching managers not know how to be leaders and not putting people first or truly caring about the people that work for them. I have learned thru my 20+ years in Operations that through trial and error and physically putting these methods in play we can help everyday normal people just like us become better leaders each and every day by following and using basic principles and practicing each and every day...

I have had an interest in technology since the early 80's when I was part of a company that replaced home audio and video equipment. Since then I have paid attention to and listened to the industry as it grew, and I have always had an inclination to become a part of it at a much deeper level. I have been able to develop my "tech skills" through church AV systems, building my own computers, and lighting systems, and now diving more deeply into videography as well. I was drug-kicking and screaming into this role by my long-time "so-called friend" Heather.

Putting People First is our motto, but it is also our lifestyle and our personal leadership style. That is where the name WE Leadership came from. This is not about you or me as a leader, it's about the WE that leaders serve, their employees. When we put our people first and become part of their team, we are so much more successful.

We designed this academy to help develop ALL Leaders, whether you're new to leading or you have made it to the C-Suite, you can always invest in yourself and grow your leadership skills.
